THE FIRST TEAM OFF TO A WINNING START!

SUNDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER

CHESTER CITY 4 MOSSLEY HILL 3

Our first team kicked off with a good win against Mossley Hill.

We totally dominated the first half and our first goal was scored by Lyndsey Rossiter direct from a corner!

Our new signing, Jenny Snow provided a further two goals before half-time. The first, from a great pass from Annette.

Half-Time 3-0

Mossley Hill are a tough side and finished a place above us last season. They responded strongly in the second half and scored two goals to make it 3-2 before another great corner from Lyndsey was met with a header from ‘H’ to give us a two goal cushion.

In a frantic finish Mossley Hill scored with four minutes remaining and continued to press for the equaliser but we held out for a deserved win and our first against Mossley Hill.

CLUB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Our Club A.G.M. will be held at Cheshire County Sports Club on Thursday 2nd July at 7.30pm in the County Lounge.

Bar available.

All club playing members and parents are invited to attend

                             Volunteers required!

We would be interested in hearing from anyone that is interested in volunteering for a role as a Team Manager or Coach or to be part of our Club Committee.

Nominations will be considered by the Club Committee and the successful nominee will be voted in at our AGM in July.

Please let me know before 30th June.

                             Player recruitment

We are looking to increase the number of Under 14’s players and we invite anyone who is interested in joining to contact the Club Secretary or any of the Committee.
