About Us

Brampton Peacock FC - Brief History

Brampton Peacock formally Robinson Sports F.C was born on the pre season of 1990. Robinsons healthcare were our main backers until Brampton Peacock tooks us under their wing offering us not only a welcoming watering hole to drown our soles or of late to celebrate a well earned win,  but the financial backing that is truly appreciated .

To press we  have two original founder members still heavily involved in the present running of the club one being the old man of the team and secretary  Raymond “naughty 40” Johnson who has been every present since 1990. He says he will retire after we win the cup … we are all praying that we can bring the silver home this season !  The other member being myself .. the gaffer.

Last season (2007-2008) was a new dawn for our club with the change of manager ,secretary and overall of the playing staff.  We have drafted in some quality signing to complement the players we have retained and with a promotion in our first season together we are certainly back on the right path to filling up the trophy cabinet.

2008-2009 is the season that shows immense promise , with further additions to our squad which will ensure competition in all areas the management team are confident not only of securing our first title in modern times but gracing the green green grass of Saltergate.

Targets 2008 -2009

1) Continuing our unbeaten win in the league that goes back to Nov 2007.

2) Progressing in the cups to at least the quarters.

3) Breaking our biggest league win – Presently 7-1 vrs White Swan Res 2007

4) Winning the league.

Up the Peacock …
