October 2004 - Legion Tour to Benidrom

In October of 2004, The Legion headed to sunny Spain and the resort of Benidorm. Upon arrival the team found themselves occupying one of the less deluxe hotels the the sunny resort. Although this was of no interest to the players as it was merely a place for them to put their heads down (for a couple of hours anyway). Right from the off, the Legion set about drinking the place dry and in alcholics Jamie Dalgliesh and Bryan Tait they were pretty close to doing so - Their mission may have been successfull if it hadn't been for Jamie and Bryan having to go to work everyday!!!!. As usual with all tours, there was little in the way of female action for the lads!!!! ha ha. On the third day of the tour, the Legion found themselves playing a game against a few of the locals. With every single player either still pis*ed or severely hungover, this was never going to be a good idea. From my recollection the game ended about Six or Seven - two, to the locals. It was agreed that the game wasn't a great idea after all, and wont be repeated on further tours. Disaster struck the team on the day before they were to leave when they found themselves evicted from their hotel. Luckily the owner of one of the local bars was able to find alternative accomodation and the players were able to enjoy their last night of the tour.
