Kettering Town Galaxy Vs AFC Wymington 21.03.09

Big game and the boys stepped up well! We went down to a well worked goal from the visitors. Then Foxy linked well with Tim to smash home a 20yard pure power effort making it hard for the keeper to handle. The gears started working then and after 10 mins of pure pressure we forced a serious of corners. Then after an attempted clearance James Reynoldson banged home a 40 yard screamer top corner, his first for the club (well done son!)

The 2nd half saw Andy bang in his 42nd of the season to seal the win 3-1 against a team who earlier in the season caused us problems.

Leaves us sitting pretty - Keep it going boys - the league is in our hands!

Big game - Poor effort

They posed a harder game than most teams we've played but we we're up for it! And at the end of the day we dropped priceless points! A lot learnt from this game! Lets move on, pick our selves up and continue on!

Great performance from Glen in the sticks, stopped us losing on a few occasions. Chris Donovan again giving 110% - The rest of us need to take a look!

Semi Final League Cup - Northants Combination 4

Yardley Away

A great performance all round - A hard game, they played much better than in previous weeks. A great equaliser from Dono just after the halftime break gave the team the belief we could go on to win. A well worked Solo effort from Foxy bang on 70 mins saw the game put to bed and an easy tap in for Tim on 80 mins put the nails in the coffin.

Well done boys - our 1st final, Kett Town's first major achievement. Let this be the first of many. April 9th Bug brook Cup Final. See you all there.
