Danny’s Clean

An impressive debut from new Layton keeper Danny Bunce saw the 28 year old shut out the team that had previously scored 11 times in 2 games to earn a vital win.

Pete’s Perfect Response
After starting the first game on the bench Pete McNicol responded by coming on to thunder a wonder strike from 30yards to send out a message to boss Wallace.

Laser blues reach second round of the Gledhill cup for the first time in the clubs history

Layton Institute Juniors today reached the second round of the Gledhill Cup in the clubs short history.

 

An all round fantastic team performance was made all the sweeter by the fact that new signing, keeper Danny Bunce, kept a clean sheet against a team that had previously scored 11 goals in 2 games.

 

Another bright spot was the fact that another debutant, Pete McNicol, scored a 30 yard screamer on his debut performance.  For more details read the match report.
