Southern Rangers SROB Reserves 4 v 1 Southwick Rangers

Another good result for our boys

on a day when a lot of players wanted to do somthing else rangers managed another win despite only having 10 fit players to choose from,

On 15 minutes Laurie taped home from close range to put us 1-0 up

21minutes and Rangers got a 2nd when Joe Bidwell headed in at the far post

2-0 rangers, on 35minutes rangers took there foot off the gas and Southwick pulled one back just before halftime, not what we wanted.

second half rangers work hard to keep possession and on 55 minutes Pete Earl finalyputs the ball in the net after half a dozen chances well done pete!

On 70 minutes rangers are at them again and with along ball over the top Pete scores his second and Rangers 4th final score 4-1.

Well done to those who are commited to this team, another great result.

Vista 1 v 3 Southern Rangers SROB Reserves

This was another big game for Rangers, needing to keep in touch with the teams around them.

The game started well with both teams having good possession, after about 20 minutes

Vista started to get on top with a lot of pressure on our boys, and the defence

having to soak up a lot of pressure with some good saves from Ian in goal and

hard work from our defence,

on 30 minutes Sam went to head the ball away and a Vista player tried to win the same ball and it ended with a bad clash of heads, with both players ending up in hospital, thankfully both players are now on the mend.

On 38 minutes Vista take the lead with a ball across the box Vista striker unmarked

on the edge of the box and thumps home from 18 yards,

42 minutes and rangers get themselves back on level terms with a goal from Tony

Brailsford assisted by Will Trueman.

Half time 1 -1

2nd half starts and Rangers now with the wind behind them start to get on top

 with some good possession football,

on 55 minutes Joe Bidwell is brought down in the box, Rangers get a penalty

Stewert steps up andf slots home 1-2 Rangers, who now are in the driving seat

continue pressing forward and on 70 minutes a ball from Dave Downes to Hunter

who fires a rocket of a shot into the top far corner from about 20 yards

1-3 Rangers final score.

Very well done to every one of you great effort lads another 3 points.

Manager needs to put accurate stats down

Ash there was not a own goal in the game , the ball was in the back of the net before the defender touched it. Please make sure the stats are accurate. Laurie Doutre.
