Coed Eva Athletic Girls FC is a football team based in Cwmbran, South Wales. The team was founded in 2015 and currently competes in the South Wales Women's and Girls' League (SWWGL).
History
Coed Eva Athletic Girls FC was founded in 2015 by a group of parents who wanted to provide opportunities for girls to play football in Cwmbran. The team started out in the Gwent County Girls League and quickly progressed through the divisions. In 2021, the team won promotion to Division 1 of the SWWGL.
Recent successes
- The team won the Gwent County Girls League Cup in 2020.
- The team won the SWWGL Division 2 title in 2021.
- The team won the SWWGL Division 1 Plate in 2022.
Current squad
The current Coed Eva Athletic Girls FC squad consists of players aged 11 to 16. The team is managed by Mark Williams and coached by a team of volunteers.
Future plans
Coed Eva Athletic Girls FC is ambitious and plans to continue to progress through the divisions. The team hopes to one day compete in the FAW Women's League.
