Dorking Wanderers Football Club is a semi-professional football club based in Dorking, Surrey, England. They are currently members of the National League, the fifth tier of English football, and play at Meadowbank.
History
Dorking Wanderers were founded in 1999 by Marc White, Mark Lewington, Ian Davidson, Lee Spickett and Penny Gregg. The club started playing in Division Four of the Crawley & District Football League. They won promotion to Division Three in their first season, and then to Division Two in their second season.
In 2003, Dorking Wanderers moved up to the Surrey Premier League. They won the league in their first season, and then won promotion to the Isthmian League Division One South in 2005.
Dorking Wanderers continued to climb the leagues, winning promotion to the Isthmian League Premier Division in 2007, and then to the National League South in 2018.
In the 2021-22 season, Dorking Wanderers finished second in the National League South, and then defeated Ebbsfleet United 3-2 in the play-off final to earn promotion to the National League for the first time in their history.
