Formed from the basis of football-desperate university students, The Trent Allstars F.C have a wide range of players to select from. With University hours and the lifestyles to match, Trent Allstars F.C was founded to be that recreational release from the stressors involved with full-time (over-priced) education. Trent Allstars F.C pride themselves on flair, good spirit and youthful exuberance to provide decent and enjoyable competition for all opposition. For those involved within the Allstars set-up, Football is about enjoyment, the release from social pressures and the ability to let ones inner child loose on a sunday morning for God"s one true gift...Football.

03/09/2006 - The Allstars Debut

For future pub quizes, the Allstars first ever game was on September 3rd 2006 in the EMPAL division 4. It was a winning start vs Phoenix. 3-2 was the score.

03/09/2006 - Trent Allstars First Ever Goal

The very first goal for Trent Allstars was scored 40 minutes into their opening game against Pheonix. The goal was a sweetly struck penalty by team skipper Simon Roberts.

05/11/2006 - The First Ever Caution

James Herbert was the first Allstars player to recieve a card. This was against Ardley Athletic in the EMPAL cup. His booking was for a clumsey chest high tackle, characteristic of the all-or-nothing player.

10/12/2006 - 50th Allstars Goal!!!!

This goal was scored by Ian Turner, the 2nd goal of a 3-1 victory against Clifton Bridge Inn on 10th december 2006.

2006 - 2007 - The End Of The Debut Season

At the end of the first competitive season, Allstars finished joint in the EMPAL 4th devision, playing 20, winning 16, drawing 1 and losing 3, and thus achieving promtion in their debut season. They had a good cup run, reaching the last 16 in the EMPAL cup.
