West End met Bottom of the league Chellaston Rams at Markeaton Park which was a must win for West End, although Chellaston Rams did not see it that way and played as if they were top of the league.

The game started in favour of Chellaston as they won all the air and ground challenges but they just couldn't see there way past the back 4 of West End which stood firm through out. No goal mout chances fell to either sides in the first 45 minutes.

Second half West End threw a couple of Substitutes on to make the game much more in the way of there favour with firmer ( but fair ) challenge's beening made all over the pitch allowing West End to play and create. again though there was little in the way of goal mouth action for either team but in the 70th minute West end did break through into a goal mouth scramble were the ball was travelling into the top right hand side of the goal only to be saved by a chellaston rams midfielder which resulted in only one outcome ( RED ) and this in turn gave West End a penalty and the only goal of the game but the game my not of been the most attractive game in the world but it was effective.
