History
Allenton United FC was founded in 2003 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The club started out in the East Midlands Senior League, and quickly moved up the leagues. In 2010, they joined the Midland Regional Alliance, and in 2015, they were promoted to the Abacus Lighting Central Midlands Football League.
The club has had some success in recent years, winning the Midland Regional Alliance Cup in 2014 and the Abacus Lighting Central Midlands Football League Cup in 2017.
