History
The club was originally formed in 1926 as Folk House Old Boys FC, but changed their name to Blidworth Welfare FC in 1982. They have played in a number of different leagues over the years, including the Central Midlands League, the Northern Counties East League, and the East Midlands Counties League.
In 2022, they won promotion to the United Counties League Division One.
The club's home ground is the Welfare Ground, which has a capacity of 300 spectators.
