History
The club was founded in 1924 and originally played in the Rutland & District League. They joined the Leicestershire Senior League in 1972 and have been members of the Premier Division since 2010.
Cottesmore's most successful period came in the 1980s when they won the Leicestershire Senior League Cup twice (1982, 1987) and the Ancaster Cup once (1986).
Recent seasons
Cottesmore have finished in the top five of the Leicestershire Senior League Premier Division in each of the last four seasons. They reached the final of the Beacon Hill League Cup in 2020, but lost to Hathern FC on penalties.
