The South Manchester Girls League is a competitive football league for girls aged 11 to 18. It was founded in 1999 and currently has over 100 teams playing in it.

The league is divided into different divisions, based on the age and ability of the teams. The top division is the Premier Division, and the bottom division is the Development League.

The league season runs from September to April, and each team plays each other team in their division twice. The top teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, and the bottom teams are relegated to the next division.
