Hamworthy Recreation Football Club
Hamworthy Recreation Football Club is a football club based in Merley, England. They are currently members of the Wessex League and play at Magna Road.
The club was founded in 1948 as Hamworthy Engineering FC and played on the Sports Ground opposite the factory at Fleetsbridge in Poole (where the Tesco supermarket now stands). When the site at Fleetsbridge was sold to Tesco in the late 1980's the football, along with the Sports & Social Club, moved to its current home at Magna Road.
The club has won the Dorset Premier League on three occasions (1990-91, 1999-00 and 2003-04) and the Wessex League Division One on one occasion (2019-20).
The club's current manager is Kirk Grice.
Hampshire Combination & Development Football League
The Hampshire Combination & Development Football League is a football league based in Hampshire, England. It is a feeder league to the Wessex League.
The league was founded in 1968 and currently has 16 clubs. The teams play each other twice, once at home and once away.
The winners of the league are promoted to the Wessex League Division One. The bottom two teams are relegated to the Hampshire League Division One.
The current champions are Hamworthy Recreation.
