The team was formed in 2009 as a development team for Waltham Cross FC's first team. They have won the Herts Senior County League Division Two title twice, in 2011-12 and 2016-17.
The team's home ground is the Waltham Cross Sports Ground. They have a long-standing rivalry with fellow Herts Senior County League team Hertford Town.

The league champions are promoted to the Spartan South Midlands League Division One, while the bottom two teams in Division One are relegated to Division Two. The bottom two teams in Division Two are relegated to the Herts County League.
