Introduction
The York Railway Institute U15 football team is a girls' youth team based in York, England. They play in the City of York Girls Football League, which is a competitive league for girls aged 15 and under.
The team was founded in 2015 and has been growing in popularity ever since. They currently have a squad of over 20 players, and they train twice a week at York RI's ground on New Lane.
The team is managed by Dean Cairns, who is a qualified football coach. He is supported by a team of volunteer coaches and managers.

City of York Girls Football League
The City of York Girls Football League is a competitive league for girls aged 15 and under. It was founded in 2005 and currently has over 50 teams playing in it.
The league is split into two divisions, the Premier Division and the Division One. The York Railway Institute U15 team currently plays in the Division One.
The league season runs from September to April, with each team playing each other team twice. The top two teams in the Premier Division at the end of the season are promoted to the Premier League, while the bottom two teams in the Premier League are relegated to the Division One.
