The club was founded in 1925 and originally played in the Doncaster & District Amateur League. They joined the Central Midlands League in 1987 and have been promoted to the Abacus Lighting Central Midlands Alliance League on three occasions, most recently in 2019.
The club's home ground is the Main Sports Ground in Doncaster. The ground has a capacity of 1,000 spectators.
Recent History
Yorkshire Main First had a successful 2021-22 season, finishing third in the Abacus Lighting Central Midlands Alliance League. They also reached the final of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup, where they lost to Sheffield F.C.
The club's current manager is Damian Wieczorek. Wieczorek has been in charge of the club since 2017.

The Abacus Lighting Central Midlands Alliance League is a regional football league in England. It is the ninth tier of the English football league system and is for teams based in the Midlands region.
The league was founded in 1987 and currently consists of 20 teams. The champions of the league are promoted to the Northern Counties East League Premier Division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Central Midlands Premier League.
The league's current champions are Mickleover Sports.
