Hertfordshire Senior County League

The Hertfordshire Senior County League is an amateur football league based in Hertfordshire, England. It was founded in 1898 and currently has two divisions at senior level and two divisions at reserve and development level.

History

The Hertfordshire Senior County League was founded in 1898. The original competition consisted of just one division, with 12 teams. The league has expanded over the years, and now has two divisions at senior level and two divisions at reserve and development level.

The league has been won by a variety of clubs over the years. The most successful club is St Albans City, who have won the league 14 times. Other notable winners include Letchworth Garden City, Ware, and Hemel Hempstead Town.

Current Structure

The Hertfordshire Senior County League currently has two divisions at senior level: the Premier Division and Division One. The Premier Division is at Step 7 of the National League System, while Division One is at Step 8.

The league also has two divisions at reserve and development level: the Reserve Division and the Development Division. The Reserve Division is at Step 9 of the National League System, while the Development Division is at Step 10.
