Liverpool County FA Girls and Open League
The Liverpool County FA Girls and Open League is an amateur football league for girls and women in Merseyside, England. It is affiliated to the Liverpool County FA and the Football Association.
History
The league was founded in 1992. It was originally called the Liverpool County Girls' Football League. The name was changed to the Liverpool County FA Girls and Open League in 2018 to reflect the fact that the league now also includes women's teams.
Structure
The league is divided into a number of divisions, based on the age and ability of the players. The top division is the Premier Division, followed by the First Division, Second Division, and so on. There are also a number of cup competitions for teams in the league.
