Macron Suffolk & Ipswich League
The Macron Suffolk & Ipswich League is an amateur football league in Suffolk, England. It is affiliated to the Football Association and is at the 11th tier of the English football league system.
The league was founded in 1907 as the Suffolk & Ipswich Football League. It was renamed the Macron Suffolk & Ipswich League in 2022 after a sponsorship deal with Macron.
The league consists of six divisions: the Senior Division, Division One, Division Two, Division Three, Division Four, and Division Five. The Senior Division is the highest division in the league.
The league champions are promoted to the Eastern Counties League, while the bottom two teams in the Senior Division are relegated to Division One.
Recent Season
The 2022-23 season was the 116th season of the Macron Suffolk & Ipswich League. The Senior Division champions were Henley Athletic, who were promoted to the Eastern Counties League. The bottom two teams in the Senior Division, Capel Plough and Achilles, were relegated to Division One.
