Reading & West Berkshire League

The Reading & West Berkshire League is an amateur football league in England. It is affiliated to the Football Association and operates in the Berkshire County Football Association.

History

The league was founded in 1920 and originally consisted of 10 teams. It has since expanded to over 100 teams and is divided into a number of divisions, including the Premier Division, Division One, Division Two, and Division Three.

Reading & West Berkshire League action

The league has produced a number of professional footballers, including former England internationals Ashley Cole and David James.

Current season

The current season is the 2022-23 season. The Premier Division is currently being led by Thatcham Town, while the Division One leaders are AFC Newbury.
