Introduction
The Southampton & District Tyro Football League is an amateur football league affiliated with the Hampshire FA in the South East of England.
The league was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of age groups, from Under-7s to Under-18s.
The league is divided into a number of divisions, with promotion and relegation between divisions based on final league positions.
The league also has a number of cup competitions, including the Tyro Cup, the Tyro League Cup, and the Tyro Charity Cup.
