Introduction

The Under 12 amateur football league is a nationwide league for boys and girls aged 12 and under. The league is divided into regional divisions, with each division having a number of teams. The teams play each other home and away, and the top teams at the end of the season are promoted to the next division.

The league is run by the Football Association, and is open to all clubs that meet the FA's criteria. The league is a great way for young players to develop their skills and experience, and to compete against other players of their own age.

League Structure

The Under 12 amateur football league is divided into 10 regional divisions. The divisions are:

  • Yorkshire and Humberside
  • East Midlands

  • South West
  • East Anglia
  • Wales

Each division has a different number of teams, depending on the size of the region. The teams play each other home and away, and the top teams at the end of the season are promoted to the next division.

Season Format Under 12 match

The Under 12 amateur football league season runs from September to May. The season is divided into two halves, with each team playing each of their other divisional opponents once in each half. The top teams at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, and the bottom teams are relegated to the lower division.

The league also has a cup competition, which is open to all teams in the league. The cup competition is played in a knockout format, with the teams drawn against each other randomly.
