The team is managed by Paul Davies and assisted by Steve Griffiths. They are supported by a team of dedicated coaches and volunteers.
Playing in the SDYFL
The SDYFL is a large and well-established youth football league in the West Midlands. It has over 300 teams playing in a variety of age groups and divisions.
AFC Gornal U8 South play in the SDYFL U8 South Division. This is a competitive division with a good standard of football.
The team has had a successful season so far, winning several games and finishing in the top half of the table.
