Baobab United FC is a football club based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England. They currently play in the Abacus Lighting Central Midlands Football League, which is the 11th tier of the English football league system.
The club was founded in 2009 by a group of friends who wanted to create a team that would represent the local community. They played their first season in the Chesterfield and District League, and were promoted to the Central Midlands League in 2011.
Baobab United have been a consistent performer in the Central Midlands League, and have finished in the top half of the table in each of the last five seasons. They reached the final of the League Challenge Cup in 2017, but lost to Ilkeston Town.
The club's home ground is the Recreation Ground in Chesterfield. The ground has a capacity of 200 spectators.

The league was founded in 1971 as the South Derbyshire League, and changed its name to the Central Midlands League in 1983. It was sponsored by Abacus Lighting in 2023.
The league currently has four divisions: Premier North, Premier South, Division One North, and Division One South. The champions of each division are promoted to the next level, while the bottom two teams in each division are relegated.
