History
- The club was founded in 1898 and joined the Ilford League.
- They won the league (jointly) after World War I, but folded due to a lack of support during the 1922–23 season.
- The club was reformed as Barkingside Boys Guild in 1925 and initially played in the Ilford Minor League.
- They were soon renamed Barkingside Old Boys, before becoming simply Barkingside in the 1930s.
- The club joined the London League in 1950 and finished runners-up in their first season.
- They won the League Cup in 1956 and were beaten finalists in 1953 and 1963.
- The club joined the Essex Senior League in 1999.
- They won the league in 2003–04 and were promoted to the Isthmian League.
- The club were relegated back to the Essex Senior League in 2007–08.

The Thurlow Nunn League is an English football league system. It is the ninth tier of the English football league system and is divided into three divisions: the Premier Division, Division One and Division Two.
The league was founded in 1980 and is named after Thurlow Nunn, a local building company. The league champions are promoted to the Isthmian League North Division, while the bottom two clubs in each division are relegated to the Essex Senior League.
