Maidstone Tempests were founded in 2009 by a group of friends who wanted to continue playing football after leaving school. The team initially played in the Kent Sunday League, but they moved to the Express Auto Centre Maidstone and Mid-Kent Sunday Football League in 2012.
The Tempests have enjoyed some success in recent years, winning the Invitation Cup in 2021-22. They are also the current holders of the Kent Sunday League Charity Shield.
Current Season
Maidstone Tempests are currently in their 14th season. They finished the 2022-23 season in 10th place in Division 3.
