March Town United Football Club

March Town United Football Club is a football club based in March, Cambridgeshire, England. They are currently members of the United Counties League Premier Division South and play at the GER Sports Ground.

The club was established as March Town in 1885. They joined the Peterborough & District League in 1908, but left after a single season. The club rejoined the league in 1911, before leaving in 1913. They subsequently became members of the Cambridgeshire League and were Division One runners-up in 1921–22. However, the club finished bottom of the division the following season.

March Town United rejoined the Peterborough & District League in 1923 and remained members until 1977, when they were promoted to the Eastern Counties League. The club won the Eastern Counties League Cup in 1985–86 and 1993–94.

In 2004, March Town United were promoted to the Isthmian League Division One North. The club finished bottom of the division in their first season, but were reprieved from relegation due to the restructuring of the league. March Town United were relegated to the United Counties League in 2012.

The club won the United Counties League Premier Division South in 2021–22, earning promotion to the Premier Division.

Hinchingbrooke Cup Competition

The Hinchingbrooke Cup Competition is a football league competition for teams in Cambridgeshire. The league was founded in 1923 and is currently sponsored by R G Carter.
