The league was founded in 2016 and is currently sponsored by UCFB, a football university. There are 24 teams in the league, divided into two divisions.
The top two teams in each division at the end of the season qualify for the play-offs. The winners of the play-offs are crowned champions of the National League U19 Alliance - Title Sponsors UCFB.
