How are online card payments processed?

All card payments are handled by Stripe, one of the largest and most secure online payment processors in the world. Payments go directly from the player's debit or credit card to your team or club bank account. TeamStats provides the platform to facilitate these transactions and does not have any access to your bank account or funds.

What are the fees for receiving online payments?

Each card payment is subject to a small processing fee charged to the team. UK teams pay 2.5% plus £0.30 per payment. European teams pay 3.5% plus €0.30 per payment. Non-European teams pay 4% plus 0.30 per payment in their local currency.

Can TeamStats automatically chase players for unpaid fees?

Yes. You can set up automated payment chasing messages that are sent to team members who owe money. You control when the messages are sent and how they are triggered. Members receive a direct link to make a card payment, automating the collection of match fees, subs, fines and registration fees.

Do financial records update when a player makes an online payment?

Yes. Every online payment instantly updates all relevant financial records and adjusts both the team balance and the related team member's balance. There is no manual work needed to keep your financial records current after online payments.
