About the Banbury District & Lord Jersey FA

The Banbury District & Lord Jersey Football Association (BDLJFA) is an amateur football league based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England. It was founded in 1904 and currently has over 100 member clubs. The league runs competitions for men, women, and youth players of all ages.

The BDLJFA is affiliated to the Football Association (FA) and its leagues are ranked in the FA's National League System at Levels 9 and 10. The top division of the BDLJFA is the Premier Division, which is currently sponsored by The Swan Hotel in Banbury.

Banbury District & Lord Jersey action

The BDLJFA also runs a number of cup competitions, including the Coronation Cup, the Eric Morris Cup, the Geoff Wilson Cup, the George Reynolds Cup, and the Lord Jersey Cup.

Recent seasons

  • In the 2021-22 season, the Premier Division champions were Hardwick Sports Club.
  • In the 2020-21 season, the Premier Division champions were Kings Sutton Town.
  • In the 2019-20 season, the Premier Division champions were Bloxham United.
