Oxfordshire Invitation Youth League
The Oxfordshire Invitation Youth League (OIYL) is an amateur football league for youth teams in Oxfordshire, England. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of age groups, from Under-7s to Under-18s.
Divisions
The OIYL is divided into four divisions:
- Under-7s
- Under-8s
- Under-9s
- Under-10s to Under-18s (split into two divisions)
The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the previous division.
Cup competitions
The OIYL also runs a number of cup competitions, including:
- The Invitation League Cup
- The Invitation League Challenge Cup
- The Invitation League U17 KO Cup
- The Invitation League U18/U19 KO Cup
These cup competitions are open to all teams in the league, and provide an opportunity for teams to win silverware.
