Baltic Vets FC 1 vs 2 Cudham

Baltic's promising start to the season came to an end after a 2-1 reverse to a very physical Cudham side. The game was scrappy with Baltic struggling to keep hold of possession and hitting it long for Tony Roberts to chase. This tactic was nullified by the impressive Cudham defence. With a bear 11 eleven, Cudham made the hosts work hard and made the breakthrough in the first half. It went from bad to worse for Baltic when the visitors doubled their advantage after a soft penalty was awarded. The Cudham striker went down after a tangle of legs with Paul West and Jordan Pettman. Baltic rallied and they pulled a goal back through Kieron Pettman, his second in consecutive games. The ball bounced around the box like a pinball and as it popped out between two players, Kieran slammed it into the net. The home side continued to press, sniffing an opportunity to equalise. However, despite two late goalmouth scrambles, Cudham held on for the win. Can Baltic recover from this disappointment and return to winning ways next time out?
