BCH FOOTBALL TEAM 2 vs 1 ZOOLOGY

BCH Football Team hosted Zoology in a friendly encounter at the AAU Sport Complex on 22 August 2026, with kick-off at 7:30am. The match concluded with BCH Football Team securing a narrow 2-1 victory after a competitive 90 minutes plus injury time. Referee Itz Promise oversaw the 11-a-side contest, which saw BCH deploy a classic 4-4-2 formation to good effect.

BCH Football Team lined up with Goddey in goal, protected by a back four consisting of J. Peter at right back, Promise and E. Idan as central defenders, and B. Praise covering the left defensive flank. The midfield quartet featured Chuwkwudi on the right wing, E. Power and Jabari operating centrally with Jabari in a more defensive midfield role, and John providing width on the left. Up front, the strike partnership was formed by O. Marcus on the right and God’swill leading the line from the left. This 4-4-2 setup was designed to balance defensive solidity with attacking width and penetration. No substitutes were named for this fixture.

The first half unfolded with both sides probing cautiously, but BCH’s shape allowed them to control the midfield and create openings down the flanks. Chuwkwudi, operating on the right wing, was particularly influential, combining pace and skill to unsettle the Zoology defence. Despite several promising moves, the half ended goalless at the 45-minute mark, with BCH edging possession and territory.

As the second half commenced, BCH’s attacking intent intensified. The forwards, O. Marcus and God’swill, linked well with the midfield, especially with Chuwkwudi’s incisive runs and crosses from the right. This pressure eventually paid off as BCH found the net twice, demonstrating clinical finishing and cohesive team play. Zoology managed to pull one goal back, ensuring a tense finale, but BCH’s defensive unit, marshalled by Promise and E. Idan, held firm to preserve the lead.

Chuwkwudi’s performance on the right wing was a standout, earning him the Player of the Match accolade. His ability to stretch the opposition and deliver quality service was pivotal in unlocking Zoology’s defence. The match showcased BCH Football Team’s tactical discipline and attacking verve, setting a positive tone for their upcoming fixtures.
