Beacy hit terriers for 9 as winning run continues.

March report

Afc terriers 0

Beacy 9

The winning run continues with a demolition of lowly Afc terriers. Again missing a number of players those available stepped up to put on a class display and again show why we have a great chance of silverware on more than one front this year.

As soon as the game kicked off you could sense this may be one way traffic and we went close early on through Rodriguez, whilst the linesman flagged frustrated us on a couple of occasions. We got the break through courtesy of paddy who fired home from 25 yards following some excellent work from chaz and josh 1-0. A second was not far away when Shaun Coker clipped a free kick onto the head of Ebberson who steered home for 2-0. Ryan Coker then had a goal disallowed wrongly for offside before super Shaun Coker side footed a free kick in from 30 yards which surely the keeper should of saved 3-0. We dominated the rest of the half without having a single further shot and at half time we were cruising towards another victory.

Second half began with a bang as Ryan Coker stooped home his first of the game from a yard out following a searing corner 4-0 and then soon added another with a good header from just inside the box 5-0. Changes saw rodriguez and searing replaced with radek & George who both got a good run out. The sixth goal arrived shortly after, and what a goal it was, I haven't seen a better goal anywhere this year and certainly the best goal I have ever seen in amateur football, enter chaz littlejohn, the ball fell to him 35 yards out in the left wing position almost on the touchline, riffling the ball like a missile it flew into the top corner leaving the keeper absolutely no chance, quite simply magnificent 6-0. Further goals came when radek fired home from the edge of the box following a half cleared corner 7-0, and Ryan added two more headers, both from close ranged 8/9-0. A quiet day for the defence as Shaun and Gunns dealt with the little they had to with ease whilst summers had less than 10 touches of the ball😀.

As we were leaving the ground, one of our supporters said they had given up going to watch Wycombe, as the football we play is much more enjoyable, a great compliment to our team and manager.

Fantastic display for large parts, well done all!

Man of match - chaz - that goal 👌
