Parkdale Sidac United 0 vs 2 Blackbrook U14s

Blackbrook continued their assault on league 2 with a scrappy 2-0 win away to Parkdale Sidac infront of a record attendance of 45.

In truth the game never really got going with both teams failing to keep hold of the ball. 'Brook once again relied on the counter attack with the pace of the front 3 keeping the Sidac defenders on their toes.

An error by the unfortunate Sidac keeper led to the opening goal. Put under pressure by the chasing Williams, the ball took an unfortunate bobble as the keeper was about to clear it leaving Williams with an empty net to tap in his third goal of the season.

Half Time 1-0.

Sidac pushed for the equaliser but didn't really threaten and had to rely on a couple of long-range free kicks which Jon handled well.

The game was settled with a minute to go when Ellis smashed in a 25 yard free kick from close to the right hand touch line off the far post.

Blackbrook march on, 2 from 2 and a rarely seen clean sheet!
