BoC F.C. 3 vs 1 Broomwood FC

A tight game swung our way with two quick fire goals just after half time.

Broomwood had an old defence but a few younger players in midfield and upfront. It was a battle, as always, their closing down work exceptional as usual.

Ben followed up his own shot for 1-0 but we messed up at the back and it was 1-1 at half time.

A punt forward from Tys somehow hit the crossbar and under pressure from Chris the keeper could not gather it, Ilyas tucking home the loose ball. A nice curled finish from Tony a few minutes later and we didn't really look back after that.

Notably a fine cross from Charlie just missed by Chris and a good series of 1-2s and Tony just failed to hit the target with the shot.

Tony had bit of a tangle with their youthful midfielder drawing a cut on his cheek, but they were off the mark claiming a foul; in truth it should have been the other way.

Ben - 1/2 in goal

Charlie - MoTM, although notable mentions for Puntah, Tony and Alex , amongst a good team performance.
