BoC F.C. 3 vs 4 Harretons

Injury and absence hit BoC finished the season on the wrong end of a 7 goal thriller. It was industrial clearances and last chance defending at the back, but tika-taka going forward as the ringers tried to pass their way into the net.

First goal was straight down my throat but took a wicked swerve downwards and I should have had it covered anyway but somehow it was in the back of the net. Second goal was a lob and at 0-2 we needed a bit of inspiration.

Up stepped Tyson with a barnstorming run from left back and fed Marcos who duly scored.

A couple of worldies later which gave Stu no chance we were behind 1-4 but we were creating and just missing lots of chance.

Marcos following up on good work from Alex made it 2-4 and at the death Ben Hough hit post and crossbar and somehow their defender managed to turn it in.

It was a good end of season game, in spite of the result and some arguing over decisions. On another day it would have gone our way.

Tyson gets man of the match for a couple of great breaks from the back and playing 60 minutes when his legs were busted.
