Boots Wednesday 1 - 0 Fanzines: Boots won an incredibly close game and secured the double against Fanzines thanks to Matthew Prescott's screamer. Both teams missed a handful of chances, with Ian Dean, Richard Taylor and Robert Crozier all unlucky for Boots, before the result was decided in the 85th minute when pressure from Luke Bradley forced a backpass error. Justin rolled the indirect free-kick into the path of Prescott, and the plucky scouser rifled his shot into the top right corner from 15 yards! Brett Tooby was awarded MOM for orchestrating a resilient, if unorthodox, defensive display!
