Rising Sun picked up a point today following a frantic final 10 minutes of an even game ending 3-3. Joey Donnelly opened the scoring with Rising Sun's first attack as the keeper fumbled his shot from the edge of the area. BYL woke up after that and there long balls over the top of the defence caused Sun a lot of trouble at the back and the back line was dropped deeper to counter this threat. However before that could be done BYL got themselves an equalizer followed by a controversial penalty decision and made it 2-1 BYL. But Sun got themselves back into the game with a excellent cross from full back Michael Towler which was headed home by Striker James Holmes. HT 2-2.

The Second half started well for Sun who kept BYL pinned in there half for the first 15 minutes, but BYL got themselves forward creating a few chances. Still the game remained even and with not too long left a BYL player decided to lash out off the ball and earned himself a red card, this was followed by a protest and another BYL saw red. Despite them being down to 9 men they played the best football they had of the game and really looked like scoring. However a Direct Free Kick for Sun from 40 yards out was placed over the keeper by Matt 'Vish' Burton to put Sun ahead 3-2. It looked all set up for a victory but BYL never gave up and the 9 men out played Sun in the last minutes and a late corner was somehow bundled into the goal to end the game 3-3. FT
