Chestercity take all 3 points against Biggin Hill FC. Biggin Hill started the game against City with no points and no goals scored. With all due respect, City did not underestimate the opponents and under a good sunshine at Woodlands Sec Sch, City shape was a bit depleted as key players such as 1st choice keeper, Safiuddin and forward Aizam pulled out due to marathon and the passed on of his relative respectively. Xavier sits this one out the same reason as Aizam while Charlie was missing through injury. Stanton, Tushiq and Herman pulls out due to family, education and work reasons. Charlie was missing through injury he suffered in City's last match against JFC.

City called upon reserve goalkeeper Eizzul in goal, Syaikhan kept his left back slot, Tam, named captain for the match partners Afizan in centre while Rohaizad was in right back. Jelson making his first start in central midfield alongside Sufiyan and Zaini with Izzat Hashim deployed in attacking mid role. Upfront saw Azhar in place of Aizam and City’s top scorer, Airul.

With the 9-0 defeat of Biggin Hill Fc to Teban Thunders, City would want to make a quick start and was rewarded when Sufiyan through ball found Airul. With still a lot of work to do, Airul goes past the right back and unleashed an unstoppable shot to the roof of the net to make the scoreline 1-0.

Biggin Hill then never lay low and on the 16th min, the striker breaks the offside trap and went 1 on 1 with Eizzul. The striker tries to wrap his foot around the ball which Eizzul managed to parry it away. Good save.

A minute later, City were 2 up courtesy of an own goal by Biggin Hill’s central back. Airul found himself free on the right flank, he loses his marker send a low cross to the middle park and with Zaini lurking the presuured opponent's central defender mistimed the cross and toe pokes into his own net.

27th minute, Biggin Hill break their scoring duck. Off a corner, the City defence went to sleep and was caught when Eizzul tries to catch the loose ball only to spill to the feet of the opponent player who taps in to pull 1 goal back for the visitors. New boy Hafiz then makes his bow replacing Rohaizad at right back.

31 min, Azhar had a volley well save by Biggin Hill custodian. Yazid Tam, organized the defence well and that shows when his marshalling caught the opponent with 12 offsides.

Halftime: 2-1 to City.

Restart, the match started with unfamiliar weather when it started to drizzle on Woodlands Sec pitch. The game was a 50-50 chance since the second half resume and the coach spring a surprise when right back Rohaizad replaced Eizzul in goal in the 51st minute.  That was not the only surprise, with Biggin Hill threatened to equalize and with lack of attacking options up front, City coach Ridwan decide to strip his tracksuit and takes the field in place of Azhar in the 55th min. It proved to be a lift to all the players as the City’s bench cheered when City coach makes his debut. The first contribution City coach made was an aggressive tackle to the opponent. Referee ticks Ridwan away.He then got a chance when he volleyed a bouncing ball only to see the keeper push it out for a corner.

Izzat Hashim then was clearly brought down after a neat trickery by him which cause havoc in the opponent’s defence. City coach Ridwan sends a curling shot straight down the middle but Biggin Hlll goalkeeper backpaddles to tip that away for a corner. The referee kept his cards in his pocket yet again ticking off City's coach Ridwan after a studs up challenge by City's coach on Biggin Hill’s midfielder. On the 65th min, Irfan replace Izzat Hashim. 2 mins later, the youngster through ball found Airul one on one with the goalkeeper, with time and space to pick, Airul sends a tame shot straight to the keeper. Every City player had their hands on their head. A frustrated Airul failed to kill the game. Then Airul return Irfan the favour. The striker shot-cross found Irfan free in the penalty box but due to his unawareness his header was comfortably caught by the keeper.

City kept pressing for a 3rd goal and that came in the 75th minute. In the downpour, City’s new boy, Hafiz cross to the back post found Bazil whose shot was spilled by the goalkeeper to make the scoreline 3-1.

City ran out winners.

After the game, City coach commented,” The players live up to their expectations today. We are not as lucky as Teban who ran riot by scoring 9 against our opponents today. We did not underestimate them and kudos to them for breaking their scoring duck in the league. As for my players performance, I’m glad that we are not in the hangovers from the match defeat against JFC, the players look strong and confident with Tam marshalling the defence well. We caught the opponents with 12 offsides today that prove he has a good command and good leadership. We collected 6 points from 3 games and we are confident we can still improve and the fixtures is coming thick and fast and I hope to have all my players fit and on form for the next game.

When ask to rate his 25 min performance, he added,”  I just came on to spur my team on and yes I had a freekick tip over by the goalie but the rest was all down to the team. It was a good performance after all.”
