Serangoon North, Singapore

It's FC92 taking on City again which saw the away team losing 2-1 in the reverse fixture at woodlands secondary. City would definitely want to make amends for that lost and grab all 3 points today which will help them secure automatic promotion to Division 6.

City started the match welcoming debutant goalkeeper Amin between the sticks. The tall keeper is just what City needs as first choice custodian Safiuddin will be missing for a few games as the latter was selected for First XI along with Mizan. Safiuddin was named on the bench for this match.

The defensive guards saw Hairull starting again at right back, Fred partners Charlie for the first time in centre while Jelson kept his left back position.

In midfield, Mizan gets his first start of the season on the right wing, Miah sticks to the left, Ryan and Indra in centre while Naufal in an advance role behind top scorer Gabir.

On the bench, a full load of talents saw Hakim, Anon, Bob, Xavier, Brahim, Hafiz and Tevez all ready when needed.

City started the game as they did against Hilderinc. They set off quickly and grabbed a 9th minute tap in goal by Mizan after Miah's shot was spilled by FC92's custodian 1-0 to city. The heat really slows the tempo of the two teams as passes were well off their desired path.

11 mins later, it was 2-0. City's top scorer was yet again at the right place and right time when the goalie spills yet another shot this time from Naufal and Gabir was on hand to pounce into the empty net.

FC92 pushed forward abandoning their defensive shape and saw 2 shots went wide.

Referee then blew for the halftime whistle with City leading. Halftime changes, Gabir was replaced by Tevez, Miah and Mizan place was taken by Anon and Hakim, Hairull and Jelson left for the oncoming Bob and Brahim which saw City revert to a change formation of 3-6-1 with captain Indra back in centre defence.

Second half started brightly as the first. Within 8 minutes of the restart, FC92 found themselves 3 goals down as Ryan opens his account for the season with a close range finish. 5 minutes later, it was one way traffic. City wins a freekick 27 yards out and captain Indra steps up and sends an unstoppable shot to the roof of the net.

With that goal, City coach decide to make changes to keep the team fresh with Jurong Shipyard FC in mind. He took of Fred and replace him with Xavier.

FC92 did not look themselves as they do not threaten City for most part of the game.

Coach Ridwan then did the unthinkable. With the game secured at 4-0, he brought Gabir back on in place of Naufal and also brought on first choice keeper Safiuddin as an outfield player in place of Ryan.

With that change City add a fifth in the 64th minute when Anon releases Tevez who slotted past the on rushing FC92 custodian.

7mins later Gabir put the icing on the cake as Amin became they provider this time when his clearance was easily tap in by Gabir who took his tally to 5 of the season with 9 mins left.

City then slow down their game and madness soon rushed in as Indra and FC92 player was sent off with a minute of the game left.

The referee then brings the match to a close. Final score City crushed FC92 6-0.

City coach commented on the match,"It was an outstanding performance and they did well to keep a clean sheet for a first time this season. Kudos to them for believing in themselves."

"About Indra's sending off, it might be a provocation or something must have been said to the captain cause no one will act rashly but in the end a sending off is a sending off and we might have to do without him in the next game against Jurong Shipyard."
