Away league match played on 20 April 2014.
Kicked off at 1:00 PM

City with 6 points out of the 2 games takes on Lionheart FC who by far are the title challengers this season.

City on the other hand have almost a full squad but miss of Duncan Elias who was still undecided about his City's future. Returning from absence over the game against Bon Voyage are the likes of Indra, Danial, Din, Zahrul, Bob and Hafiz.

City changed their formation yet again with a 4-4-2 scrapping the idea of a 4-3-3 attacking formation. Amin was picked ahead of Safiuddin while the back four of Fred, Aleef, Jelson and Hairull continues to be the pillar strength at the heart of defence. In midfield, captain Indra was re-instate alongside Ryan in centre while Danial took over the right mid spot with Naufal taking the left. Upfront Gabir spearheads the attack alongside Bob. At the bench, City have Zahrul, Hafiz, Baeesa, Airul, Din and City top scorer for the season Ridwan to call upon.

City started the match with cautious as opponents comfortably stroke the ball around. Just as Lionheart tried to pick up their game it was City who drew first blood. From ann open play, Danial gets into the box and finishes cooly with opponents questioning the referee for not ruling it out for offside.

1-0 to City. City prowled on, 8 minutes later, they were 2 up courtesy of a long pass from Amin which Gabir sending a lob over the goalkeeper to make it 2 without reply.

City camp were delighted. They knew they were on course for another 3 points.

Lionheart had otherwise, they came clawing back and deservely got their goal in the 32nd minute when their winger skips past Danial and Hairull before unleashing an unstoppable shot to the roof of the net. 2-1

Then tragedy struck City. getting a pass from Jelson and was pressurised by Lionheart's striker, Amin could just clear the ball which kindly bounced off the striker and into the empty net. That left Ridwan livid.

Then as halftime almost commencing, City let another goal slip by, the one-two was excellent by Lionheart whom then saw their forward's shot crept past amin who gets a hand to it.

Halftime, Lionheart leads from a 2 goal deficit.

Halftime changes, Ryan was replaced by Zahrul, Hafiz on for Jelson while Gabir who have to leave for work for Airul.

There were more stability at the back and in midfield but that was never going to take away from Lionheart as they scored yet again 3 minutes after kickoff.

City knew they are troubled. They tried to pry open Lionsheart defence but they were equal to it.

8 minutes later. City sprung a surprise of their own. Picking up a loose ball, Indra decides to shoot from almost the halfway line which left the keeper in no mans land. 4-3 in the 56th minute.

City then complete the fightback with Airul finishing off with an acrobatic bicycle kick off Indra's cross to make it 4-4 for the night.

Naufal had a long range shot help on to the crossbar while Lionheart had string of glancing headers going wide.

With chances gone begging for both team, referee final ends the 8 goal thriller match.

Ridwan commented,"The 2 winger showed me character today. They were amazing. Danial showed maturity and good touches while Naufal was not only good at attacking, he is a world class ball winner. His determination was absolutly incredible. I thought the match woudn't ended with 2 possible candidates for goal of the seaon but it just did. I'm happy with the result, we can actually win this one if we focus. But credits have to go to the lads cause they've gotten the halftime team talk. They showed their fighting spirit. Having said that, West Academy is a team we really need to beat to be title challengers."
