Juniors Stroll Into Semi-Final!

The team had a fit again Brooke in their ranks today and unfortunately for the visitors, they had an abundance of talent around her. Another electric start saw Brooke back to bag an early hat-trick, Meg score twice and Faye to join the fun from Lauren’s assist (6-0). There was no let up, Carly set up Charlotte (7-0), Charlotte set up Carly (8-0) and Bobbi slotted from Eva’s assist (9-0).

HT 9-0!

An agreement was made at half time for the visitors to play an extra 2 players, this made for a better game of football. The team had to work harder for their goals, but they did come.....Faye struck her second from another Charlotte assist (10-0) Sophie bagged a deserved goal (11-0) and Eva showed her qualities at both ends of the pitch with a well struck first from Summers good work (12-0) and a second followed (13-0). A final goal from Bobbi’s assist saw Meg tap in her hat-trick goal (14-0).

Difficult to judge how good the team were today but they did exactly what they had to do. A massive gulf between the teams but Merley never gave up and we wish them well in the future. Considering all that has happened the team are looking fit and strong. Individually, each player is going from strength to strength expressing themselves within a very talented team. Another quiet day for Millie, balanced performances from Mya, Lauren

and Abi, more aggression and trickery from an always improving Summer are the mentions for our non-scorers. Top assists for Charlotte today also!
