On 22 February 2026, DABOYSFC welcomed Blitz to their home ground for a league clash kicking off at 11:00pm. The hosts produced a commanding display to secure a resounding 6-0 victory over their opponents in front of 50 spectators under the watchful eye of referee Mr Mike.

DABOYSFC lined up in a 4-3-3 formation, deploying Kashwin Obermeyer in goal behind a back four of Deven Benson at right back, Tyson Bowers and Alanzo McKenzie as central defenders, and Reese Mathee at left back. The midfield trio featured Denzel Russell on the right, Neillan Abrahams centrally, and Raeez Rubidge on the left, tasked with both defensive duties and supporting the attack. Up front, the front three consisted of Jaden Gentle on the right wing, Suhail De Koker leading the line as striker, and Nathaniel Ferguson operating on the left wing. The substitutes available to the manager were Dejuanne Abdullah, Leevin Zacheus, Warren Meyers, and Riaz Rubidge.

From the outset, DABOYSFC imposed themselves on the game with early attacking intent. The breakthrough came in the 12th minute when Nathaniel Ferguson delivered a precise cross from the left flank, allowing Suhail De Koker to rise highest and power a header into the net. Just four minutes later, Raeez Rubidge played a short pass to Jaden Gentle who unleashed a superb right-footed strike from outside the box, showcasing individual skill to double the lead.

The hosts maintained their dominance but were briefly disrupted when central defender Tyson Bowers was shown a yellow card in the 30th minute for a foul, signalling a need for caution in defence. However, DABOYSFC responded emphatically as Raeez Rubidge unleashed a stunning long-range strike with his right foot in the 38th minute, following a neat short pass, to extend the advantage before the break.

At half-time, tactical changes were made with Dejuanne Abdullah replacing right back Deven Benson and Leevin Zacheus coming on for right midfielder Denzel Russell. These substitutions aimed to refresh the squad and maintain their attacking momentum.

The second half saw DABOYSFC continue their relentless pressure. In the 57th minute, from a corner kick, Nathaniel Ferguson’s delivery found Suhail De Koker once again, who headed home from close range to notch his second goal of the match. The visitors struggled to contain the hosts’ fluid attacking play.

Further changes followed as Warren Meyers replaced right forward Jaden Gentle in the 65th minute, and shortly after, in the 72nd minute, Riaz Rubidge came on for the prolific striker Suhail De Koker. Despite these alterations, DABOYSFC’s control was unshaken.

Defensive discipline was tested with yellow cards shown to Alanzo McKenzie in the 74th minute for an unspecified infringement and to Nathaniel Ferguson in the 82nd minute. Nevertheless, the hosts’ attacking threat remained potent.

In the 68th minute, before being substituted, Suhail De Koker completed his hat-trick with a superb right-footed finish from outside the area, assisted once more by Nathaniel Ferguson’s short pass. The striker’s clinical finishing was a highlight of the evening.

The final goal arrived in the 86th minute when substitute Riaz Rubidge lobbed the ball expertly over the goalkeeper after receiving a short pass from Leevin Zacheus, sealing a comprehensive 6-0 victory for DABOYSFC.

Suhail De Koker’s hat-trick and overall influence earned him the player of the match accolade, reflecting his pivotal role in DABOYSFC’s dominant performance. The home side’s tactical setup and execution left Blitz unable to mount any meaningful response throughout the 90 minutes plus injury time.
