FC MENZEH 7 vs 2 OMAR UNITED

In a thrilling six-a-side encounter at Rabat on 25 August 2026, FC Menzah emphatically defeated Omar United 7-2 in a match that lasted 60 minutes plus added time and an additional five minutes of extra time. Kick-off was at 10:00pm, and despite the modest attendance of seven spectators, the game delivered plenty of excitement and goals.

FC Menzah lined up in a 2-2-1 formation, a tactical setup designed to balance defensive solidity with attacking impetus. The two defenders were tasked with maintaining a strong backline, while the two midfielders were expected to link defence and attack, providing both support and creativity. The lone forward was the focal point of the attack, charged with finishing chances and applying pressure on the opposition’s defence. This formation demanded high work rates from the midfielders to cover ground and assist both ends of the pitch.

Omar United, meanwhile, faced a tough challenge against a well-organised FC Menzah side. Unfortunately, no substitutes were listed for either team, meaning the starting line-ups remained unchanged throughout the contest.

The first half saw FC Menzah take control early on, demonstrating their attacking prowess and tactical discipline. By the 30-minute mark, the referee signalled half-time, with FC Menzah already well ahead on the scoreboard. The visitors struggled to contain the hosts’ fluid passing and incisive runs, which repeatedly carved open their defence.

In the second half, FC Menzah continued to dominate proceedings, adding further goals to their tally and effectively putting the game beyond doubt. Omar United managed to find the net twice, but their efforts were insufficient to stem the tide of FC Menzah’s relentless assault.

The match extended into five minutes of extra time, during which FC Menzah maintained their superiority and sealed a comprehensive 7-2 victory. The attacking unit, led by the standout performer Driss Azouaz, impressed with their clinical finishing and intelligent movement.

Azouaz’s influence was pivotal throughout the match, earning him the well-deserved Player of the Match accolade. His ability to create and convert chances was instrumental in FC Menzah’s dominant display.

Overall, FC Menzah’s tactical execution and individual brilliance ensured a memorable win on home soil, leaving Omar United to reflect on a challenging night in Rabat.
