Home league match played on 27 October 2013.
Kicked off at 1:30 PM

Nicely summed up by PEM:

Hi Guys,

Not much to say on this on this as a lot of us had a chat in the Club afterwards.

My summation is that:-

·        They were a nice bunch of lads!

·        The score does not reflect the game, at all

·        I actually thought that Macc Vets were better than these guys and we took them to extra time with effectively 9 men

·        We had some really good periods in the game and in particular the first and last 20 mins

·        The game changed on a very soft penalty award to them – it got their heads up and some of ours went down

·        We scored two fantastic goals towards the end and particularly Richards ‘Bullet header’ towards the end – ow!

·        Our defence did not have its best day ;-)

·        A few of us need to get to Orford and on the pitch, on time – no names

Still, they are second in the league and we could/should have done better so we know we can do it. We have a break now until the 17th Nov when are at home against Alder (Top of the league). After that we have run of easier games (Clubs in and around us in the league).

Incidentally, Nice to see so many back at the club afterwards.

Easley is organising the Xmas do – watch out for his mail.

Regards,

Paul Emsley-Martin
