Away league match played on 22 October 2012.
Kicked off at 7:10 PM

Greensleeves endured a frustrating evening as they lost 3-1 to The Dugout.

There were changes again as Aaron came in to play in goal, as Eddie was absent yet again. Elliot played in his first game of the season.

The first half was fairly tight and Greensleeves defended well in the main, against a Dugout team who had the majority of possession. A few sloppy moments did give The Dugout some chances, which Aaron did well to save. Greensleeves failed to launch many meaningful attacks, with Elliot and Matt somewhat isolated up front. A couple of half chances saw Elliot shoot wide and Matt hit the post from an angle, but it was The Dugout who had the edge going into half-time, even though the score remained 0-0.

The Dugout piled on the pressure after half time, and it did not take long for the Greensleeves to fall behind as their striker hit a half volley into the corner from some distance.

A brief attacking spell followed from Greensleeves. Matt hit the post again and had a shot cleared off the line by Ian Carey, whilst Elliot had a couple of efforts saved.

Greensleeves couldn't keep it going and a second and third soon arrived for The Dugout on the break, as the Dugout broke with pace following cheap concession of possession.

Greensleeves did score a consolation as Matt played in Dave, who evaded a defender and finished well.

The final whistle blew soon after to signal a deserved defeat for the boys in Green. Lessons will have to be learned for the next game. The solid shape that had served the team so well in recent games was not apparent as players were dragged out of position all too frequently.

MAN OF THE MATCH- Aaron had a fairly decent game which is more than can be said for the rest of the team.

STAT OF THE MATCH- This was Greensleeves first defeat for 4 games
