Home league match played on 12 April 2016.
Kicked off at 6:30 PM

i wont write a match report as such but i'll write a synopsis of what each player did during the game.

Couple of points:

Great hatrick and all round perfomance from Ramma.

Once we get the ball on the floor and through midfield we are just unplayable.

We continue to look very solid atb the back

Save for the post twice, the bar three times and a MOM perfomance from their keeper we could have scored double figures.

We still didnt get out of 3rd gear

greeny bottled to come on for last 5 minutes

One more win to be champions!

Bull

Tidy, not much to do but did so with quality as usual. Required a commentary in the second half as couldn’t see the other end of the pitch when the goals were going in due to the fog. Hair is starting to resemble a lion’s mane

Joe

Huge improvement from last season, asked to play the position and not bomb on too much and did so well. Handled a lot of first half pressure very well. Two disappointments, didn’t get Tom back for the foul and we didn’t see the Heddon bypass

Scoob

No Titus Bramble moment this week, scored another goal. Quality on the ball and in the air leading the line well throughout, especially given that his sugar was down the first ten minutes and he didn’t know where he was!

Scott

Great on the ball and fills in at centre half seamlessly. Obviously got bored in the second half and on a few occasions tried to take on their team from his own 18 yard box! Still doesn’t like to come to the pub after the game – who does he not like??J

Burnie

Unlucky not to get another goal when hitting the bar. Solid as ever and talked the back line through the game, seamless transition from right back to left back in the second half, as one would expect from the son of god

Jlish

Holding Centre midfield berth for the Heddon Jan Molby! Took some time to adjust to the position but ran the game second half with a lot of our good stuff coming through him. The turning circle of the titanic is more evident in midfield than full back.

Ross

Played a game sober for the first time since July and what a difference! Bagged one with a lovely header and could have bagged more. Didn’t shout at anyone and bossed the midfield, even showing some silky touches!

Ramma

Despite being a haemophiliac (look it up boys) and being off the pitch for 30 minutes of a 45 minute half he still managed to bag a hatrick! That’s 4 in 2 games for Heddon’s Mr Versatile and he actually meant these 3! Point lost for missing other chances but a great around performance

Sean

Finished off a great team move to score the 8thgoal and having his best season yet in a Heddon shirt. Sean now has 26 assists and 18 goals, not too shabby! Managed not to dive tonight which is always a plus

Richie

Like a steam train it takes him some time to get going and once he worked out how to play footy again in the second half, he was a thorn in the side of Tom the right back. Unlucky not to score. Work rate is improving all the time as is his vision.

Walker

Another goal Goal and 3 assists for the (ahem) natural leader and calm individual that is Mr Walker, he has now scored 32 goals and created 17, again not too shabby. Perennially offside (we’ll teach him the offside rule at the next training session) but we wouldn’t change Heddon’s Shy man (well maybe a little!J)

Oli

Came on as a sub for Joe and was racing up the wing and nearly scored with a sliding tackle (again). No thunder buster of a stupid challenge which was disappointing but at least he didn’t give away a pen! Yeah!

Waddsy

Centre half for the last 15 and was very solid, passing the ball out from the back ala Bechenbauer however felt the need to then run after his pass wherever they went like a dog chasing a ball. Looking forward to being back in nets on Sunday to try his new gloves out!

Bench Warmers:

Ballaz

Heddon’s Darren Anderton is getting bored of being on the bench and I’m bored of him being there as his craic level now has gone down to the level of Phillip’s. He cant even be borthered to mock people anymore – the man needs a game QUICK!

Phil

Heddon’s John carver managed to not tap me on the on the chest throughout the game – improvement! Did he give a tactical lesson to anyone today?

Thinks he is going to pull a John terry and pull on his kit for next Sunday!

Tom

Was on the bench, came in a suit. Ruined his shoes, intentionally weirdly.

Rich & Greeny

Had their first argument, I cried, he cried, we cuddled, Colin got jealous.

Colin

Overcame his jealously by looking in his wallet.

Gary

Was on the bench, had to work.
